2012…dun dun dun. [[cue John Cusack.]] No, really, happy late and obnoxious but obligatory, new year! We said it a few times on Facebook but since not everyone has Facebook, here is our greetings to YOU in our blog. Yay…moving on. So, with the new year comes all kinds of fun stuff. Just a little background on us for the year…Mike and I are getting ready to go on our very belated honeymoon to Hawaii. We are SO excited since March 7th will be our third year wedding anniversary and we have yet to take a real vacation together that is not work related. (We are such a fun couple, I swear.) While there, we are getting pictures taken together with an absolutely amazing photog…more to come on this later though. 
In other news, Mike is turning 28 this year, and I, 26…inching towards old and I can’t wait. Helloooo discounts at Denny’s! We are closing in on having a busy year but still lots of free time to fill up and that’s what leads us to this blog post. We have some really fun stuff in store for the coming year, including some new gear. Mike is looking at purchasing a Nikon D4 if and when he can get his hands on one along with some other lighting gear that we bought last year. We have some very fun ideas that are either in planning stages or in our brains. Seriously, SO excited! SO, enough rambling, here is the promo info that we are running for February 2012!

That’s what I said…we have news.
Mike and I have been so busy around these parts. We have a wedding post we will be getting up very soon but before that, we have all kinds of stuff we want to share with everyone. We were able to attend WPPI for the very first time between February 18-24. I’m not even sure where to begin with saying how amazing it was being able to attend. We learned SO much in such a short time, I seriously thought that our brains were going to explode. We were able to see some amazing photographers speak and teach their techniques. We learned a lot and I’m pretty sure our entire business has changed since then. We were already super excited for so many weddings this year but I think we are even more so now. I honestly cannot wait to show you all the new things that we have learned. Luckily, we have over 5 weddings this month alone so I hope all of our March brides are ready because, we’re about to rock your world. (Okay, that was cheesy. But seriously, it is going to be awesome!)
On another note, our TTD contest ended today. I have to say, we learned a lot during our first contest but we’re glad we did it. And finally, our winner is…Nina! She received a whopping 365 votes! Our second place goes to Lori, who wasn’t too far behind with 308 votes and our third place is Andie with 195 votes. Andie’s Engagement session is on Friday so we are excited for that and Lori’s wedding is in May so even though they weren’t first, they still have sessions coming up and if they choose to do a TTD, we would like to offer $50 off our package price. Contact us for this guys! But in the meantime, Congrats Nina! We will be contacting you soon so we can set up your TTD session.
