Melissa contacted us in a panic about a month before Brian and her wedding day. She had booked a large photography company for her wedding day and started to think it was not going to work out. (This happens a lot! Way too often actually.) But anyway, fate brought her to us and we are so happy that it did because Melissa and Brian are freaking awesome!
We started with Melissa during her getting ready at Caesar’s Palace. The “flower girl” aka Olive the dog, was relaxing with everyone else during the getting ready process. Melissa warned me beforehand that she is a crier. Not just a few tears either…a lot of sobbing would be taking place. lol It ended up being okay and brought on some great candid photos of the day with so many emotions being displayed. Once hair and make-up were done, Melissa got her dress on and we all headed down by the chapels. We got a few photos of her and her girls before they traded places with Brian and we got some of the guys. Everyone was very laid back and we knew it was going to be a fun crowd.
The ceremony was indoors, thank goodness because it was 110 out that day! But the ceremony was simple and beautiful. Again, the emotions that everyone was feeling made for a great wedding day. After the ceremony we headed to the Las Vegas Sign with the couple before the reception at Max Brenner in the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace. (Let me just take a moment and say that holy bananas…this place is the place to GO! Even if you aren’t a chocolate lover, oh my godddd. Yummmm!) Along with the tasty eats was a great night of dancing, heartfelt toasts, fun, family and giant cupcake smashing. Congrats Melissa and Brian and thanks for letting us spend your wedding day with you!
