Occasionally every photographer needs to step outside their comfort zone. My comfort zone is weddings. Outside my comfort zone is dark rooms with insane lighting and loud music. Yep, shooting concerts is not in my comfort zone. So when my old friend, and guitarist of One Ton Project, asked if I’d shoot their band at an upcoming gig, I was hesitant. However, I just snagged a new D700 and I was itching to put it through the ringer and test the main aspects of the camera that were so different from the rest of my cameras, mainly the extremely high ISO.
