When Natalie first contacted us and said that she would like to do a ttd mainly because she wasn’t happy with her wedding photos made me sad. We did not shoot their wedding but after meeting up with them for the ttd, I wish we had. We had so much fun and coincidentally, Natalie and I have a mutual friend. We clicked instantly though and it led to a very fun shoot. We headed to the dry lake bed first followed up by some railroad tracks. The puppies made the shoot though. I love working with puppies! 
We really did have a great time though and hopefully will get to do more “family shoots” with the five of them again soon.

So on a scale of 1-10, this shoot was BRUCE! (haha I totally said I would post that and I am!) Rochelle wanted to destroy her dress so that is what we set out to do and I think, short of burning it, we definitely trashed her dress. Mike and I had heard of holi powder about a year ago and we could not wait to use it and Rochelle was more than game. We went out to the dry lake bed and here comes the 65mph winds. Great. But Rochelle and Bruce did not complain at all and got right into it. Of course, as soon as I opened the container it went everywhere…it was the first time I got “trashed” on a shoot. Haha Then once they got started, there was no looking back! Holi powder everywhere, dust everywhere…it was awesome! Then we started the tearing of the dress which I will admit was weird at first but Bruce got right into it. We had such a fun day with Bruce and Rochelle. And I have to say, Bruce warned us; he did say he was awesome in our questionnaire!
